El Concejo Deliberante de Escobar Impulsa la creación de Estación o Apeadero en Loma Verde
En una iniciativa conjunta, el Presidente del Concejo Deliberante y referente del frente Renovador, Elio Miranda, junto a Hugo Cantero, concejal del Frente para la Victoria-PJ, solicitan la creación de una estación en Loma Verde.
Los ediles, a través de un proyecto de Resolución solicitan a la ADMINISTRACIÓN DE INFRAESTRUCTURAS FERROVIARIAS, SOCIEDAD DEL ESTADO (ADIF): “Se incluya en las obras de restructuración y renovación de vías del ferrocarril Bartolomé Mitre en el Ramal Buenos Aires – Rosario, una estación multimodal de carga y de pasajeros en “Parque Industrial, Tecnológico y Educativo” de Loma Verde, ubicado en la fracción 260 de la sección XI de la mencionada localidad, y que vincule al mismo con el sistema del mencionado ramal ferroviario”.Los legisladores comunales argumentaron que:“Dado que el emplazamiento del Parque Industrial mencionado precedentemente aún no funciona ya que se encuentra en la primera etapa, el Honorable Concejo Deliberante de Escobar vería con agrado la posibilidad que de inmediato se dé la creación de un Apeadero o Estación en Loma Verde como primera etapa”.
Al solicitar la nueva estación ferroviaria para Loma Verde, el proyecto menciona que: “La estacion “Huincul – Caru” (hoy Loma Verde) es un lugar de constante progreso, y la cuál supo tener dos apeaderos ferroviarios, en los primeros tiempos de la puesta en marcha del ferrocarril, servicio que se da entre Retiro y Campana, desde 1876”.
El ferrocarril en Loma Verde, siempre tuvo un fuerte vínculo con el sector productivo y como antecedente se cuenta que en el año 1900, se construyó un apeadero, para permitir el traslado de la producción Agrícola – ganadera, de la zona.
Los testimonios de los viejos lugareños, como el Sr. Juan Pablo Vergara, que se domicilia en calle Congreve y Junín, dan cuenta que durante la década del 50, los niños jugaban en el apeadero abandonado, en lo que quedaba del andén, en el descanso de zorras, etc..”
Por su parte, el Sr. Pablo Bonfanti, manifiesta que durante la década del 60, un establecimiento tambero perteneciente a la familia Gaytan, cargaban la producción lechera en el ferrocarril que se detenía en otro apeadero, con menor infraestructura que el anteriormente descripto, que se encontraba a la altura de lo que hoy es el Instituto Fleni.
Los ediles consideran: “Que el crecimiento de la población de Loma Verde, de aproximadamente de 5.000 habitantes y que las mejoras en la infraestructura ferroviaria pueden transformar el perfil económico , incrementar la productividad, modificar la estructura de costos de las empresas y personas, siendo además el ferrocarril un medio de transporte barato, ágil y cómodo, para toda la población que haga uso de su servicio, en un ramal que transporta solo en la zona metropolitana de Buenos Aires a Zarate más de 800 mil pasajeros al año, estimándose que ese sector en el término de un año ascenderá a 3 millones de pasajeros y en la segunda a 7 millones de pasajeros al año y que la ampliación del servicio constituye una de las herramientas que disponen los gobiernos a la hora de implementar una política de desarrollo e integración nacional, que permita la expansión sostenida de todas las regiones del país”.
