Sandro Guzmán junto a Fernando Jantus en el acto de Egreso de los Oficiales de la Policía Local de Escobar
En la mañana de hoy, el Intendente Sandro Guzmán y el Viceministro de Seguridad de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Fernando Jantus recibieron a los primeros 150 oficiales de la Policía Local. El acto de egreso de los oficiales se llevó a cabo en el Polideportivo Municipal “Luis Monti” de la ciudad de Belén de Escobar.
También estuvieron presentes funcionarios, concejales, familiares de los oficiales egresados y gran cantidad de vecinos.
Luego de entonar el himno nacional argentino, el Intendente Sandro Guzmán expresó: “Hace seis meses tomé el desafío de adherir y formar parte de la Policía Local, lo cual hoy ya es una realidad. Aprovecho esta oportunidad para agradecer al Gobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Daniel Scioli, por esta importante iniciativa, a Jantus y en especial a un amigo y compañero el Ministro Alejandro Granados ya que en su gestión el Partido de Escobar ha sido beneficiado en capacitación técnica, en agentes y en cantidad de móviles. Por otro lado, quiero felicitar a los verdaderos protagonistas de este día, los oficiales. Quienes tienen una gran vocación de servicio a la comunidad y eso es admirable. Hoy aportan capital humano con su vocación de servicio en defensa de todos nuestros vecinos.”
En sus palabras el Viceministro, Jantus, se dirigió a los egresados y dijo: “ Hoy ustedes son fundadores de la Policía Local de Escobar, y tienen una responsabilidad muy importante, custodiar a todos los ciudadanos escobarenses. Tienen que estar muy atentos. Los vecinos necesitan tranquilidad y ustedes deben transmitirla a través de su presencia en las calles, en las plazas, en los centros comerciales. Los felicito por su capacitación y por su iniciativa de ser policías y estar a disposición de la sociedad. ”
El Viceministro hizo entrega de las llaves de los nuevos patrulleros de la Policía Local al Intendente, quien luego cedió las mismas al Jefe de la Unidad de Policía Local. Estos nuevos móviles patrullarán las calles de todo el distrito.
Vale destacar que en el mes de febrero el Intendente Sandro Guzmán firmó el convenio por la adhesión al Régimen de la Policía Local, comprometiéndose con los vecinos a brindarles una herramienta más contra la inseguridad.
Estos 170 oficiales fueron capacitados para formar parte de esta nueva fuerza. La capacitación consistió en dos etapas, una teórica y otra práctica. Por un lado, el entrenamiento físico y práctica de tiro a cargo de profesionales, enseñanza de técnica de defensa personal, la realización de operativos en calle y por el otro lado, módulos teóricos en donde obtienen conocimientos de índole jurídicos, administrativos y operativos.
Los efectivos estarán uniformados, armados y a disposición de todos los vecinos, manteniendo una comunicación directa con ellos.
Por su parte, este programa busca fortalecer la prevención del delito a nivel municipal y optimizar la descentralización operativa de la policía, ya que el Ministerio coordina el programa pero el jefe policial a cargo dependerá en forma directa del Intendente Municipal.
