La división a caballo de la Policía Local de Escobar ya participa de los operativos de seguridad
La Secretaría de Seguridad y Prevención Comunitaria de la Municipalidad de Escobar comenzó a patrullar con la división a caballo de su Policía Local eventos organizados en el distrito: su estreno fue durante los festejos del día del estudiante y de la primavera realizados el pasado miércoles en el Paseo Papá Francisco en Ingeniero Maschwitz.
A modo de prueba piloto, dos oficiales preventores y sus caballos se sumaron al operativo montado por la Policía Local para controlar a los casi 3.000 vecinos que participaron del festival de música y circo organizado por la Municipalidad en total armonía y sin que se registraran hechos de violencia.Por el momento, la secretaría de Seguridad cuenta con cuatro caballos que serán destinados a patrullar eventos multitudinarios.En el Polo de Seguridad de Ingeniero Maschwitz se está acondicionando el sector de caballerizas para recibir a más animales y así, en el largo plazo, contar con un plantel de unos 20 equinos que permita destinar cuatro oficiales preventores a cada localidad del municipio. De esta manera, se complementarían en los operativos de patrullaje con los móviles cero kilómetro y las flamantes divisiones de motocicletas y bicipolicías que ya recorren a diario las distintas zonas de Escobar.
