El candidato a vicegobernador de la Provincia de Buenos Aires por Unidos por una Nueva Alternativa (U.N.A.), licenciado Daniel Arroyo, visitó el distrito en apoyo a la candidatura a intendente de Luis Carranza. En el salón de la Sociedad de Bomberos Voluntarios de Maquinista Savio, encabezaron un acto en conmemoración al Día de la Lealtad Peronista y del Día de la Madre con la participación de más 300 mujeres militantes del Frente Renovador de todo el distrito.
Arroyo en su alocución se refirió las propuestas del massismo en materia de seguridad ciudadana y lucha contra el narcotráfico, políticas sociales, educativas, de empleo y salud, haciendo hincapié en la prevención y asistencia de las adicciones. Finalmente, afirmó: “El 25 de octubre Sergio Massa va entrar al ballotage con Daniel Scioli, con Felipe Solá vamos a ganar en la Provincia y Luis Carranza va a ser el nuevo intendente de Escobar”.
Luis Carranza agradeció el respaldo de Arroyo, a quien presentó como “el dirigente más capacitado en políticas sociales de la Argentina”, saludó anticipadamente a todas las madres del distrito en su día, e instó a las mujeres presentes a “convocar al Pueblo a que el próximo domingo provoquemos un nuevo 17 de octubre para lograr el cambio que anhelan los argentinos, los bonaerenses y los escobarenses votando a Sergio Massa para la Presidencia de la Nación, a Felipe Solá y a Daniel Arroyo para la Gobernación de la Provincia de Buenos Aires y a la lista que encabezo en nuestro querido Escobar”.
La apertura del acto estuvo a cargo del primer candidato a concejal del massismo, doctor Gonzalo Fuentes y Arballo, y luego habló María Apes, referente política y social de Maquinista Savio y candidata a concejal en tercer lugar.
Previamente, acompañados por los candidatos a concejales Gonzalo Fuentes y Arballo, Javier Pérez y Guido Declerk, y al referente de salud del Frente Renovador local, doctor Gonzalo Andina, Arroyo y Carranza recorrieron el Hogar Todos Juntos, una ONG con personería jurídica N° 23.958, ubicada en el barrio Acceso Norte de Garín, que proporciona albergue diurno con comedor y merienda, actividades educativas y deportivas a más de cien niños y adolescentes de dicha ciudad para mantenerlos alejados de la situación de calle.
