Los futuros guardavidas le apuntan a las guardias

Los aspirantes de la quinta promoción del espacio local efectuaron su tercera salida al mar y quedaron listos para las guardias a realizar el mes que viene en la zona del Partido de la Costa.
Llegando al final de su cursada, los aspirantes que integran la quinta promoción de la Escuela Municipal de Guardavidas efectuaron el pasado fin de semana la tercera y última visita al mar. En esta oportunidad, la actividad se desarrolló en las localidades de La Lucila, Costa Azul, San Bernardo y Mar de Ajó, lo que permitió trabajar en distintas playas y observar a muchos guardavidas in situ.
“Gracias a Dios salió todo bien. Hubo buen tiempo, se trabajó con exigencia y también hicimos algunos juegos como para distender ya que se acercan las guardias”, explicó Alejandro Parral, el director del espacio gratuito que depende de la dirección de Deportes comunal.
Durante el viaje, los aspirantes estuvieron a las órdenes de Parral y el resto de los profesores que les imparten las clases a diario, mezclando clases teóricas y trabajos en campo. El staff docente lo completaron los profesores Alejandro Mazzoletti y Alfredo Crespo, en tanto los instructores fueron Gabriela Rojas, Gabriel Ibañez, Cristian Micale y Federico Mengide, todos recibidos en la escuela pilarense.
Como en las dos ocasiones anteriores en que visitaron el mar, los aspirantes efectuaron rescates con diferentes elementos como torpedos, roscas, zunchos y malacates y los docentes los fueron preparando para las guardias que deberán efectuar en enero en esas mismas playas como tramo final de la cursada.
Los alumnos que hicieron el viaje fueron Juan Malinverno, Agustín Ávalos, Agustín De Caro, Facundo Del Viso, Pablo Velázquez, Miguel Martínez, Lorena Pereyra, Esteban Cajal, Alejo Balducci, Franco Ataire, Leandro Van der Beker, Pedro Salguero y Tomás Barrada.
Guardias
Las guardias en la zona de Mar de Ajó comenzarán el 1° de enero para los alumnos de la Escuela Municipal y se extenderán hasta el final del primer mes del año. “Van convivir con guardavidas que les explicarán cómo es la labor y harán guardias con Alfredo Crespo. Además tendrán la experiencia de saber cómo se trabaja al lado del muelle, ya que yo trabajo ahí y es totalmente diferente la teoría a la práctica y es uno de los lugares con mayor peligro”, explicó Parral.
La Escuela Municipal de Guardavidas va por su quinto año y ya se ha convertido en un espacio reconocido en todo el ámbito provincial, por su carácter gratuito y por la exigencia de sus clases, tanto teóricas como prácticas.
