Hurlingham conformó un comité para combatir los casos de Dengue
La Municipalidad de Hurlingham, por decisión del intendente Juan Zabaleta, ha conformado un Comité de Prevención con la finalidad de combatir el Dengue, debido a la cantidad de casos que se han registrado en el distrito. El mismo está conformado por la Jefatura de Gabinete municipal y las secretarías de Salud, Educación y Deportes e Infraestructura Urbana y Desarrollo Sustentable.
“La idea es poner a todas las áreas del gobierno en la pelea contra esta epidemia que está afectando a nuestro país”, señaló el jefe de Gabinete Municipal Pablo Del Valle. “El trabajo será coordinado entre Salud, Desarrollo e Infraestructura para focalizar las zonas geográficas del partido”, explicó.
A su vez, el secretario de Salud Alberto Maceira expresó: “Hemos detectado en la última semana, en concordancia con el aumento a nivel nacional, un incremento en lo local”. Además comentó que “de los 26 casos en el distrito, 14 son autóctonos y los otros importados”.
De esta manera, Maceira explicó que “el mosquito vive en las casas y no se aleja más de 20 metros, por eso es importante no dejar recipientes con agua estancada, usar repelente e insecticida”. “Si hay algún familiar con fiebre o algún síntoma que genere duda, no duden en consultar a cualquier centro de salud comunitario que ya se tiene el protocolo para actuar”, finalizó.
El Dengue es una enfermedad que se transmite a través del mosquito Aedes aegypti y los síntomas más frecuentes suelen ser fiebre alta, sangrado de nariz y encías y dolores de cabeza, muscular y abdominal.
Además del Jefe de Gabinete, Pablo del Valle y el secretario de Salud, Alberto Maceira, participaron de la conferencia de prensa el secretario de Educación y Deportes, Martín Tufeksian y el secretario de Infraestructura Urbana y Desarrollo Sustentable, Luis Pereira.
