El Intendente recorrió las obras de limpieza del Canal Monterrey
Hoy el Intendente Nicolás Ducoté acompañado por la Secretaria de Servicios Públicos, Analía Leguizamón, realizó una recorrida para supervisar el desarrollo de un importante operativo de limpieza que se está llevando a cabo en el Canal Monterrey.
Los trabajos en la zona comenzaron la semana pasada y se coordinan a través del Ministerio de Infraestructura de la Provincia de Buenos Aires en articulación con el área de Higiene Urbana de la Secretaria de Servicios Públicos del Municipio de Pilar.
La limpieza se realiza a lo largo de los 3500 metros que conforman dicho Canal, el cual está ubicado en el entramado urbano del Barrio Monterrey. Dichos trabajos constituyen un recurso indispensable para mitigar los efectos de las lluvias.
Las obras se efectúan con maquinaria específica, sin embargo muchos tramos debido a sus condiciones topográficas deben ejecutarse mediante el trabajo manual de los operarios.
A los efectos de optimizar la presencia de los equipos, se diseñaron trabajos simultáneos en los que interviene personal de Espacios Verdes, quienes realizan tareas con poda de despeje y también del área de Higiene Urbana que son los encargados del retiro de ramas.
Durante la recorrida el jefe comunal aprovechó la ocasión para dialogar con los vecinos y conocer sus inquietudes.
