Comienza la campaña gratuita de vacunación antirrábica que recorrerá todas las localidades del partido de Escobar
La Municipalidad de Escobar lleva adelante desde este lunes la campaña gratuita de vacunación antirrábica 2016, que recorrerá distintos puntos del distrito hasta la primera semana de diciembre.
A cargo de la Dirección de Zoonosis, Centro Antirrábico y Control de Plagas municipal, la campaña establece la vacunación obligatoria para perros y gatos a partir de los tres meses de vida. Para recibir la dosis, las mascotas deben ser presentadas en los lugares establecidos por personas mayores de edad.
Los perros de gran tamaño deberán ser trasladados con protección bucal (bozal) y para todos los casos el traslado debe hacerse con correa y collar. En el caso de los felinos se recomienda su traslado en mochilas o envueltos en una sabana, para evitar que se escapen o que lastimen al dueño o al vacunador.
El único requisito para acceder a la vacunación es presentar el certificado del año pasado. Se vacunará con la modalidad de punto fijo, en el horario de 9 a 13 horas. En caso de lluvias, no se modificarán las fechas y puntos de vacunación sino que se reprogramarán al término de la campaña.
