Los operativos de tránsito en Escobar mostraron que en enero se duplicaron las infracciones con respecto a 2015
En el primer mes de controles se realizaron 712 multas, casi el doble que en enero del año anterior, cuando se labraron 374 sanciones. “Queremos recuperar la tranquilidad de nuestras calles para que todos vivamos más seguros”, explicó Ariel Sujarchuk.
En enero se labraron 712 infracciones por transgresión a las normas, se retuvieron 226 licencias de conducir y se demoraron 229 vehículos (209 motos, 11 autos, cinco camionetas y cuatro camiones) durante los distintos operativos de control realizados en conjunto por la Secretaría de Seguridad y Prevención Comunitaria, la Dirección de Tránsito de la Municipalidad de Escobar y las fuerzas policiales.
Desde la asunción del intendente Ariel Sujarchuk, el control municipal sobre el tránsito aumentó considerablemente. En enero de 2015 apenas se habían labrado 374 infracciones, se retuvieron 85 licencias de conducir y se demoraron 82 vehículos.
“Cuando abordamos el problema de la seguridad pública, lo hacemos de manera integral y por eso también somos intolerantes con aquellos que ponen en peligro la vida de la gente al no respetar las normas de tránsito. Los accidentes de tránsito son una de las principales causas de muertes en nuestro país, pero si lo podemos prevenir deja de ser accidente. Por eso dispusimos estos controles periódicos. Intensificamos los controles de tránsito porque queremos recuperar la tranquilidad de nuestras calles para que todos vivamos más seguros. Sabemos que falta mucho, pero de a poco lo vamos consiguiendo”, explicó Sujarchuk.
En la mayoría de las casos, las sanciones ocurrieron por conducir a alta velocidad, carencia de la documentación vigente, escape libre, falta de uso de casco (en el caso de las motos) o circulación por lugares prohibidos al tránsito pesado.
